Specialist- IT Procurement

The Specialist – IT Procurement will support end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for IT hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, telecom, and digital services across UPL's corporate and manufacturing environments. The role will ensure timely, cost-effective, compliant, and business-aligned procurement while supporting technology enablement and operational continuity. This position will work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, business stakeholders, vendors, OEMs, and implementation partners to manage RFx processes, commercial negotiations, vendor coordination, contract support, purchase execution, renewals, spend analysis, and procurement reporting.
Manage sourcing and procurement activities for IT hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, telecom, digital services, and IT services in line with business requirements and procurement policies.
Prepare and manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP documentation; coordinate with stakeholders and vendors; support evaluation of proposals based on technical, commercial, compliance, and service parameters.
Support price discovery, benchmarking, total cost analysis, vendor negotiations, and commercial comparisons to enable value-driven procurement decisions.
Coordinate with Legal, IT, Finance, and vendors for contract review, agreement execution, amendments, renewals, SLAs, and documentation closure for IT hardware, software, cloud, and service contracts.
Manage day-to-day coordination with OEMs, authorized distributors, system integrators, cloud providers, telecom partners, and service providers to ensure timely delivery, service compliance, and issue resolution.
Support the complete procurement lifecycle from requirement gathering, vendor identification, quote comparison, PR/PO coordination, delivery tracking, invoice follow-up, and payment support.
Support vendor risk assessment, contract compliance, audit readiness, data privacy documentation, cybersecurity requirements, and adherence to internal procurement processes.
Maintain procurement trackers, spend data, savings records, renewal calendars, vendor databases, and MIS reports to provide visibility on IT procurement activities and savings outcomes.
Work closely with IT, plant teams, corporate functions, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to understand requirements, manage timelines, resolve queries, and ensure smooth procurement execution.
