We are looking for a skilled Website Developer based in Vietnam who can create, maintain, and optimize reliable, conversion-focused websites for our company and clients.
About the Role
As a Website Developer at ROI Digitally, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining websites—primarily within the WordPress ecosystem. This role requires strong expertise in website performance optimization, Elementor, plugin management, and technical hosting administration.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with sound design judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in English with an international team.
Key Responsibilities
Build responsive, visually polished, and conversion-focused websites and landing pages.
Develop and customize WordPress websites using Elementor and Elementor Pro.
Translate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into functional web pages.
Optimize websites for loading speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and overall user experience.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues involving themes, plugins, databases, scripts, images, caching, and hosting configurations.
Install, configure, update, test, and maintain WordPress plugins.
Identify and resolve plugin conflicts, compatibility problems, and security vulnerabilities.
Minimize unnecessary plugins and recommend reliable technical solutions.
Manage technical hosting tasks, including domain configuration, DNS records, SSL certificates, website migrations, staging environments, backups, caching, and CDN setup.
Monitor website uptime, security, functionality, and performance.
Troubleshoot front-end and back-end website issues efficiently.
Implement technical and on-page SEO requirements, including metadata, redirects, schema markup, crawlability, and page structure.
Perform quality assurance testing across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
Maintain accurate documentation for website configurations, hosting environments, plugins, licenses, and development processes.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, content specialists, and project stakeholders in English.
Manage multiple website projects while meeting agreed deadlines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Based in Vietnam.
Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Strong practical experience with Elementor and Elementor Pro.
Demonstrated expertise in website performance optimization and speed improvement.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and website architecture.
Experience managing plugins, including updates, testing, troubleshooting, security, and compatibility.
Hands-on experience with web hosting environments, control panels, DNS, SSL, CDN services, backups, migrations, caching, and staging sites.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP.
Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and user experience principles.
Familiarity with technical SEO fundamentals and tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and Google Search Console.
Ability to identify technical problems, investigate root causes, and implement dependable solutions.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and communicate progress, risks, and technical recommendations clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for a digital marketing agency or supporting multiple client websites.
Familiarity with WooCommerce and common marketing integrations.
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CRM systems, form integrations, and conversion tracking.
Knowledge of Cloudflare or similar CDN and security platforms.
Experience using Git or another version-control system.
Familiarity with website security, malware prevention, database optimization, and server-level troubleshooting.
A portfolio showing WordPress and Elementor projects, including examples of measurable performance improvements.
