Role Description The Artist at Phoxy Music will create, develop, and refine original music and related artistic concepts for digital releases, performances, and collaborative projects. Day-to-day responsibilities may include composing and recording tracks, developing lyrics and melodies, coordinating with producers and other artists, and contributing to visual and branding elements that support releases. The Artist will also participate in project planning, provide creative input on promotional materials, and ensure all work aligns with Phoxy Music’s artistic direction. This is a remote role, offering flexibility in work location while requiring reliable communication and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in music creation (composition, performance, or production) and a strong personal artistic style.
Ability to collaborate effectively with producers, designers, and other artists in a remote setting.
Basic familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and home recording workflows is highly beneficial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback.
Self-motivated, with reliable time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Portfolio, demo reel, or links to previous work showcasing artistic capabilities required.
Experience working with online music platforms and social media promotion is a plus.
Relevant education or training in music, performance, or arts is beneficial but not mandatory.
