Role Description The Chief of Staff / Business Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Siliguri, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the center. This role coordinates administrative, financial, and operational activities, ensuring smooth workflows between medical staff, front-office teams, and management. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, supervising non-clinical staff, optimizing patient intake and service processes, and maintaining quality and compliance standards. The Chief of Staff / Business Manager will support strategic planning, monitor key performance indicators, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and assist with marketing and business development initiatives. The role also involves handling escalated patient service issues professionally, preparing reports for leadership, and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in business operations, administration, or management, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or service-oriented industries.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, including ability to manage schedules, workflows, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic financial management, such as budgeting, cost control, billing oversight, and vendor management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with medical professionals, staff, and patients respectfully and effectively.
Experience with process improvement, policy implementation, and performance tracking using data and KPIs.
Comfort with using practice management software, office productivity tools, and digital communication platforms.
Leadership capabilities including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Siliguri on a full-time basis and maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient-centric service.
