Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Mahesana. The Design Engineer will develop and refine designs for machinery, equipment, and plant systems, translating requirements into detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating CAD models, coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and supporting product design from concept through prototyping and commissioning. The role involves reviewing designs for manufacturability, safety, and performance, collaborating with cross-functional project teams, and providing technical support during installation and testing. The Design Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and company guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to develop practical, efficient, and safe engineering solutions.
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles for machinery, equipment, and structural components.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to industrial systems and automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in industrial machinery, plant engineering, or special-purpose machine design is preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, and to work effectively with manufacturing and installation teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in Mahesana.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary project environments.
