Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer internship role at MJC GlobalTech is an on-site position based in Bengaluru. Interns will assist in designing, implementing, and evaluating AI models, focusing on areas such as pattern recognition, neural networks, and natural language processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching AI techniques, contributing to algorithm development, supporting data preprocessing and model training, and collaborating with software developers to integrate AI solutions into enterprise applications. Interns will also help document experiments, prepare technical reports, participate in code reviews, and work with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business requirements. This internship offers exposure to real-world AI projects within a structured engineering environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and coding in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
Knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and tools, such as tokenization, embeddings, and common NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).
Ability to work with datasets, perform data cleaning and feature engineering, and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
