Role Description The Senior MXML Developer will work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of MXML-based applications and integrations. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end services, and optimizing application performance within complex enterprise environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, interpreting technical requirements, and translating them into scalable software solutions. The developer will review code, provide technical mentorship to junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. The position also includes troubleshooting production issues, performing unit and integration testing, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and architecture.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering stable, high-quality applications.
7 years of experience in Murex development with a focus on MXML workflows.
Strong understanding of Front-to-Back workflows in Murex (Trade capture, confirmation, settlements, market data, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Murex APIs, Datamart, and integration techniques.
Significant experience working with MXML and related technologies (e.g., Flex/ActionScript or similar UI frameworks).
Familiarity with modern development tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and work effectively in collaborative teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
