Role Description The Cyber Security Engineer will work full time on-site at the Hyderabad office, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security events, analyzing logs, and responding to incidents, as well as performing regular vulnerability assessments and security audits across applications, networks, and information systems. The role involves collaborating with development, IT, and operations teams to integrate security controls, support secure software development practices, and improve overall security posture. The engineer will help configure and manage security tools, document security standards and procedures, and contribute to threat modeling and risk assessments. This position also includes staying current with emerging threats and technologies to continuously enhance SYBRAI’s AI-powered security solutions.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including understanding of security frameworks, policies, and best practices.
Experience in Network Security and Application Security, with the ability to design, implement, and review secure architectures.
Hands-on expertise in Vulnerability Assessment, including use of scanning tools, risk prioritization, and remediation planning.
Familiarity with security monitoring, SIEM platforms, incident response processes, and threat detection techniques.
Knowledge of secure coding principles, common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and collaboration with engineering teams.
Proficiency with operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking concepts, and common security tools and technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or similar are an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and document technical findings.
