Nightfall Presents manages the full event lifecycle, including talent procurement, marketing, ticketing strategy, production management, venue operations, artist relations, and on-site execution. Role Description
Nightfall Presents is looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to support our growing calendar of concerts, nightlife events, afterparties, and branded experiences.
This is not a full-time position. Designers will work with Nightfall Presents on a project-by-project basis and will be compensated per project based on the scope and complexity of each assignment.
Projects may include:
Primary event flyers and key artwork
Artist announcement graphics
Lineup graphics
Social media posts and stories
Digital advertising creative
Ticketing and promotional assets
Event branding and visual identities
On-site signage and printed materials
Image editing and artist photo manipulation
Resizing and adapting approved artwork across multiple formats
Quick-turn graphics for announcements, sellouts, schedule changes, and other event updates
The designer will collaborate closely with Nightfall Presents' marketing, talent buying, and production teams to ensure each campaign maintains a cohesive and recognizable visual identity.
Because live events often move quickly, the ideal candidate should be comfortable handling time-sensitive projects and occasional short-turnaround creative requests.
Qualifications
Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating professional-quality work
Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, branding, and visual hierarchy
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or comparable professional design software
Experience creating artwork for social media and digital advertising
Ability to prepare assets for both digital and print applications
Strong image editing, compositing, and photo manipulation skills
Ability to follow established brand guidelines while also developing unique creative concepts
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet agreed-upon deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
Understanding of how creative design supports event marketing and ticket sales
Experience designing for concerts, nightlife, festivals, electronic music, entertainment, or hospitality brands is strongly preferred.
Compensation
This is a freelance / independent contractor opportunity paid on a per-project basis.
Rates will be agreed upon before each assignment and will vary depending on the scope, complexity, turnaround time, and number of deliverables required.
This role may develop into consistent ongoing work as Nightfall Presents continues to expand its event calendar and internal creative needs.
