About the Role:
We are looking for an International Expansion Lead to build and scale the international business from 0-to-1. The role will own market selection, GTM strategy, channel launches, P&L, marketing, and organizational build-out, personally driving the end-to-end execution required to establish and scale new international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Build the international business function from the ground up, establishing the organization structure, operating model, processes, and team.
Assess, prioritize, and sequence international market entry based on market potential, sizing, and entry feasibility, while developing market-specific GTM strategies covering channel mix, pricing, positioning, launch sequencing, and growth plans.
Identify and prioritize new channels and platforms, including marketplaces such as Amazon, Noon, and TikTok Shop, to accelerate international expansion.
Own end-to-end market and channel launches, covering seller/vendor registration, platform onboarding, catalogue/content setup, compliance, logistics, payments, documentation, and local partnerships.
Own the international P&L and marketing strategy across markets and channels, driving revenue growth, profitability, brand positioning, and channel-specific execution.
Build and scale the international organization, defining geography-led and platform-specific structures and hiring, developing, and building the international leadership and operating team.
Lead senior stakeholder management and business governance, representing the international business in leadership reviews and establishing regular reporting on market performance, priorities, risks, opportunities, and growth.
Preferred Skills & Know-how:
Strong expertise in International Business Development, Market Entry, GTM Strategy, and 0-to-1 Business Building.
Strong understanding of marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, channel strategy, pricing, and international expansion models.
Proven ability to manage P&L, commercial strategy, and business performance across multiple markets/channels.
Strong operational understanding of market launches, logistics, payments, compliance, partnerships, and platform onboarding.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and execution-oriented problem-solving skills.
Experience Requirements:
12–18+ years of experience in International Business, Business Development, E-commerce, Market Expansion, or related roles, with significant international exposure.
Proven track record of building and scaling businesses/markets from 0-to-1, including market entry and channel launches.
Experience owning P&L, GTM strategy, international marketplaces/platforms, and team building, preferably within FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce.
