Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jabalpur. This role involves leading civil engineering design and planning activities for ongoing and upcoming projects, including preparing drawings, calculations, and technical specifications. The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee site execution, coordinate with project managers, contractors, and consultants, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and approving design documents, monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, and optimizing resources and schedules. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, conducting site inspections, and supporting project reporting and documentation to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply principles to building and infrastructure projects.
Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance.
Proficiency in project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with stakeholders.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage design, analysis, and compliance with local regulations.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience with industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar tools).
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and safety practices relevant to civil projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and in field conditions.
Proven experience managing or leading medium to large-scale construction projects; prior experience in Jabalpur or similar regions is an advantage.
