Role Description This full-time remote POWER BI role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that support business decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating data models, and building visualizations in Power BI that clearly communicate key metrics and trends. The role involves working with data from multiple sources, performing data transformations, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The professional in this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize existing reports, and provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings. Responsibilities also include documenting solutions, troubleshooting issues, and staying current with best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and experience in Data Analytics to interpret complex datasets and deliver meaningful insights.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Warehousing and Extract Transform Load (ETL) to manage, integrate, and prepare data from various sources.
Candidates should possess Data Modeling skills to design efficient, scalable, and well-structured data models for reporting and analysis.
Proficiency with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices) is highly beneficial.
Experience working with relational databases, SQL, and cloud data platforms (such as Azure or similar) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
