Hiring: Scientific Coding Expert – Mathematics
We are looking for experienced Mathematics professionals to join a cutting-edge STEM AI training and evaluation project.
PhD in Mathematics.
Engagement: Full-Time / Task-Based
Role Responsibilities:
Create rigorous scientific coding problems with 1 main problem and at least 3 logically connected sub-problems.
Develop verified golden solutions in Python with complete unit test coverage.
Design discriminative test cases that distinguish correct from incorrect model outputs.
Perform QC validation using defined structure and quality rubrics.
Refine tasks based on QC feedback and LLM evaluation results.
Ensure scientific correctness, determinism, well-posedness, and high-quality submissions.
Contribute to LLM evaluation across models such as GPT, Gemini, and Nemotron.
Participate in review sessions, feedback discussions, and project standups during overlap hours.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Mathematics.
Strong Python programming and scientific computing skills.
Experience with NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, or similar scientific libraries.
Ability to formulate rigorous mathematical/scientific problems with clear constraints and expected outputs.
Strong logical reasoning and attention to detail.
Prior experience in AI data annotation, scientific research, or scientific writing.
Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks or coding benchmarks.
Published research or academic project experience is preferred.
