Freelance Automation QA – TOSCA

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong hands-on TOSCA expertise to support automation testing for P&C insurance software solutions. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing and maintaining TOSCA automation suites, supporting regression testing, analyzing failures, and integrating automation into CI/CD workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA.
Build and enhance automation frameworks and regression suites.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
Debug and maintain unreliable or failing automation scripts.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
Prepare test reports and document automation results.
Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and project managers.
Participate in test planning, defect triage, and release validation.
Define test objectives, scope, and priorities.
Support regression testing for software releases.
Follow Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
Mentor junior QA engineers when required.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA automation processes.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis TOSCA.
TOSCA test case design, execution, maintenance, and result analysis.
Automation testing frameworks and methodologies.
Basic programming knowledge in Java, C#, or Python.
Git / version control.
CI/CD exposure with Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
Jira, HP ALM, or similar defect/test management tools.
Strong regression testing experience.
Agile/Scrum experience.
Good analytical and communication skills.
Experience working in onsite-offshore environments.
Experience mentoring or guiding junior QA engineers.
Good to Have
ISTQB certification.
TOSCA certification.
INS21/INS24 certification or P&C insurance domain experience.
Agile certifications.
