Software Enginer

Role Description
We are seeking a capable and analytical Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and technical systems. The role involves translating business needs and technical specifications into efficient, secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing application components, writing and reviewing code, developing software features, troubleshooting technical issues, and conducting appropriate testing. The Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, designers, and other development teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
The role also involves maintaining existing systems, improving application performance, integrating APIs and external services, working with databases, supporting deployment activities, and contributing to technical documentation. The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
Understanding of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and data management.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, microservices, and system integration concepts.
Knowledge of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
Understanding of software testing, debugging, deployment, and release processes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Ability to produce clean, testable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
