Company Description : The Association for Disabled People (ADP) is a non-governmental organization established in 2002 and registered under the Society Act of 1860 by the Government of Delhi. ADP is dedicated to ensuring that persons with disabilities are included in mainstream society through advocacy, support services, and community-based initiatives. The organization focuses on empowerment, access, and equal opportunity across education, employment, and social participation. ADP also promotes the development of para sports and operates India’s first Para Sports Academy, PSEC, creating pathways for athletes with disabilities to train and excel at competitive levels.
Role Description : The Senior Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for leading and overseeing key programs that support persons with disabilities and para sports initiatives. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring program activities; managing budgets and timelines; and ensuring alignment with ADP’s mission and strategic goals. The Senior Program Manager will supervise program staff, coordinate with coaches and academy personnel, and foster partnerships with stakeholders such as government agencies, sponsors, and community organizations. Day-to-day tasks include designing program frameworks, tracking outcomes, preparing reports and proposals, and maintaining strong communication with beneficiaries and partner organizations. The role also requires continuous improvement of program delivery, risk management, and adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience :
Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Experience in the social sector, disability inclusion, or sports development, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Strong leadership, team management, and personnel development capabilities to supervise staff and volunteers.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills for working with partners, donors, and government bodies.
Proficiency in data collection, report writing, proposal development, and basic budgeting or financial oversight.
Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, sports management, or a related field; relevant experience in NGOs or similar organizations is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of disability rights frameworks and accessibility standards; familiarity with para sports or sports administration is an added advantage.
