Role Description The Researcher at HZA Bookkeeping Services will support the firm by gathering, analyzing, and organizing information related to bookkeeping practices, industry trends, and regulatory updates. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and regulatory research, reviewing financial and operational data, summarizing findings in clear reports, and presenting insights that help improve internal processes and client services. The role also involves verifying data accuracy, maintaining research databases, and collaborating with team members to respond to ad hoc research requests. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jenkintown, PA.
Qualifications
Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to collect, verify, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools; comfort working with financial or numerical data.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise summaries, reports, and presentations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with bookkeeping and administrative staff and respond to evolving research needs.
Familiarity with bookkeeping, accounting principles, or business operations is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and professional integrity in handling client and company information.
