Presently, the Firm is offering Industrial Infrastructure Planning, Project/Transaction Advisory & Civil Design Consulting Services. The core activities include Preparation of Master Plans for Industrial Parks, Transaction handling including preparation of BoQs/Estimates & Design drawings and Financial Modelling for Infrastructure Projects, Public Procurement for Infrastructure development and Preparation of DPRs/Feasibility Reports/Project Information Memorandums.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Water Resources Engineer role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Water Resources Engineer will analyze hydrologic and hydraulic conditions, develop models, and support the design of stormwater and water resource infrastructure. Responsibilities include preparing technical calculations, conducting water quality and stormwater assessments, and assisting in the design of drainage systems, retention structures, and other water management facilities. The role involves preparing reports, drawings, and documentation for regulatory approvals, coordinating with project managers and other engineers, and participating in site visits and field assessments. The engineer will also support the implementation of sustainable water resource practices and contribute to project planning and client presentations.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:
Stormwater, Water Supply System, Wastewater Project Planning & Project Management;
Data Management and processing using tools such as Arc GIS, QGIS, SQL and Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel;
Stormwater Design, Water Quality, Stormwater Planning and Hydraulic Analysis with 2D Hydraulic Modelling of Projects;
Wastewater Modelling and to have understanding of Culvert and Bridge Hydraulics;
To be able to compute stormwater runoff calculations, pipe flow calculations, Head loss, etc;
To prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Prepare sediment and erosion control plans;
Thorough knowledge of relevant standards and technical guidelines;
Experience using relevant modelling softwares such as StormCAD, TUFLOW, MIKE, WBNM, RAFTS, MUSIC, Water GEMS, SWMM, PCSWMM, etc;
Experience in designing of sustainable drainage systems;
Demonstrated experience in hydraulic/hydrologic modelling for storm, sanitary, water distribution systems.
Preparation of Feasibility Reports/DPRs, Project Information Memorandum and such other Technical Report Writing;
Coordinating with Clients, Contractors, Vendors, etc., & Site Inspections for various Projects.
To act independently on all technical matters for Hydraulics related aspects.
Qualification: M Tech or its equivalent in Water Resource Engineering or Civil Engineer with relevant experience in development of Water Supply Works.
Desired Experience: 1-3 years. To have hands experience in designing stormwater drains using relevant software’s, hydraulic flow calculations. Hands on experience and knowledge of Civil 3D software or any other related software will be added advantage.
Skills:
Ø ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Water GEMS, Sewer Gems, SWMM, PCSWMM, HEC-RAC, HEC-HMS and such other relevant Software’s.
Ø Excellent working knowledge on MS office, etc.
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ø Interpersonal Skills.
Ø Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ø She/he should be willing to take the extra step always, and be receptive to new ideas, and should be independent in nature.
