Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Pega application development, debugging, integration, and solution design. The candidate should have strong knowledge of core Pega concepts and the ability to independently troubleshoot and develop scalable Pega solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using the Pega Platform.
Work on case lifecycle, class structure, rule resolution, inheritance, and application architecture.
Design and develop business logic using Activities and Data Transforms.
Build and modify process flows, flow shapes, case types, and end-to-end Pega applications.
Troubleshoot application issues using Tracer, Clipboard, logs, and other Pega debugging tools.
Perform root-cause analysis and independently resolve technical issues.
Develop and support integrations using Connect REST and Service REST.
Work with Kafka for event-driven and asynchronous integration requirements.
Handle data-related requirements using SQL.
Use Postman for API testing and troubleshooting.
Work with Pega Background Processing, including:
Queue Processors
Job Schedulers
Asynchronous processing
Implement and maintain security configurations, including ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) and ARO (Access of Role to Object).
Develop and maintain Report Definitions and Declarative Rules, including expressions, constraints, and triggers.
Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega coding standards, best practices, and guardrails.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Analyze technical challenges and provide scalable and maintainable solutions.
Required Skills:
5–6 years of hands-on experience in Pega Development.
Strong understanding of Pega Platform and core Pega concepts.
Hands-on experience with Activities and Data Transforms.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using Tracer and Clipboard.
Experience with Case Management, Flows, Flow Shapes, and Application Development.
Experience with Connect REST / Service REST integrations.
Hands-on experience with Kafka.
Strong SQL knowledge.
Experience using Postman for API testing.
Knowledge of Queue Processors, Job Schedulers, and asynchronous/background processing.
Understanding of ABAC and ARO security concepts.
Experience with Report Definitions and Declarative Rules.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform code reviews and follow Pega best practices and guardrails.
Good to Have
Experience with end-to-end Pega solution design.
Exposure to integration architecture and event-driven architecture.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Pega certification such as CSA/CSSA is an advantage.
