Architect - Workplace & Commercial Interiors

Buildtosuit Works is looking for an architect who can convert client needs into intelligent, buildable commercial spaces—and stay engaged until the idea works in the real world.
We support flexible work. You may work from anywhere when the work allows it. But client workshops, surveys, design reviews, vendor coordination and site decisions require presence when the business needs it. We care about outcomes, not attendance theatre.
You are not expected to personally execute every task. You are expected to own the outcome, use our ecosystem of designers, consultants, vendors and execution teams well, and make sure decisions become coordinated deliverables.
Location: Bengaluru / flexible, with mandatory attendance for business-critical meetings and site work

Experience: 3–7 years
CTC: ₹6–10 lakh per annum, based on capability and portfolio
KEY RESULT AREAS
• Lead workplace and commercial-interior projects from brief through design development and site coordination.
• Convert business requirements into planning concepts, test fits, presentations and coordinated drawing packages.
• Own drawing quality, revisions, specifications, material intent and consultant coordination.
• Coordinate architecture, interiors, MEP, furniture, signage and execution inputs.
• Use internal and external specialists effectively rather than allowing work to stall.
• Protect programme, constructability, client experience and design intent.
• Visit sites at the right stages, resolve RFIs and close design-related snags.
• Maintain organised records, issue logs, approvals and drawing registers.
WHAT WE NEED
• B.Arch qualification and 3–7 years of relevant commercial-interiors experience.
• Strong space planning, detailing and presentation ability.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working capability in SketchUp/Revit and presentation tools.
• Evidence of projects carried from concept into construction—not only visualisation.
• Clear communication, commercial awareness and personal accountability.
