Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Gwalior. The Interior Designer will collaborate with architects and project teams to develop interior concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed space plans aligned with project requirements and client preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing drawings and documentation, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), coordinating with vendors, and supporting site supervision to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their needs, presenting design proposals, and incorporating feedback into refined solutions. The Interior Designer will also help ensure projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while following sustainable and safety-focused design practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills to develop functional, visually cohesive layouts.
Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to coordinate with project teams and produce accurate design documentation.
Candidates should possess FF&E selection and specification skills to choose appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design and budget.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Strong visualization, material and color knowledge, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Prior experience in interior design or architectural firms is beneficial; knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
