Role Description The Audio Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipments for recordings, and installations, including microphones, mixing consoles, and AV systems. The Audio Engineer will manage sound checks, monitor audio levels, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure clean, consistent sound quality. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with production teams, optimizing acoustics for different projects, editing and refining recorded audio, and documenting equipment usage and configurations. The role also requires adherence to safety standards, timely project execution, and support for continuous improvements in audio workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Audio Engineering and Sound Design.
Candidates should possess practical experience with Microphones and related signal flow.
Candidates should possess skills in working with Audio Visual (AV) Systems and integrated setups.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Pro Tools ,Logic X, Acoustics and room treatment principles.
Relevant experience in live sound, studio recording, or broadcast audio is beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and equipment specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work under time constraints.
Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as project needs require.
