Role Description The Site Civil Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will oversee daily construction activities, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors; supervising site teams; and managing construction materials, measurements, and work progress. The Site Civil Engineer will assist in project planning and scheduling, maintain site records, support cost tracking, and help resolve on-site technical issues. The role also involves conducting regular inspections, preparing reports, and supporting timely completion of project milestones.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering, with knowledge of core civil engineering principles and practices.
Ability to perform and review Civil Engineering Design, including interpretation of drawings, structural details, and specifications.
Experience supporting or working with Civil Engineers on-site, with familiarity in coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities.
Skills in Planning and site-based project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
Understanding of Stormwater Management and related drainage and infrastructure considerations for residential projects.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Hands-on experience in building construction sites, preferably in residential or low-rise projects.
Proficiency in basic engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, site staff, and technical teams.
