Solution Engineer (Flutter & Firebase) (Remote)

Role Description The Solution Engineer (Flutter & Firebase) will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Firebase in a full-time remote capacity. Daily responsibilities include building new features, optimizing app performance, integrating APIs and third-party services, and ensuring secure and reliable data handling with Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide clear estimates and implementation plans. The Solution Engineer will also participate in client discussions to clarify technical needs, troubleshoot issues, prepare demos or proofs of concept, and contribute to documentation and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
Strong Software Development skills, including experience with Flutter, Dart, Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions), and RESTful APIs.
Consulting abilities to understand client requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate complex concepts in accessible language.
Exposure to Sales and Presales activities, such as supporting technical discovery, preparing solution overviews, and contributing to proposals or demos.
Integration skills for connecting mobile apps with backend systems, third-party services, and cloud platforms in a secure and scalable manner.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), testing, and performance optimization.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment with strong time management and collaboration skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to documentation and code clarity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices is highly beneficial.
