User Interface Designer

Company Description i-BnB is a software development company based in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala, creating web applications, mobile apps, UI/UX design, branding, and AI-powered chatbot and LLM/RAG solutions for clients across India and abroad. The team follows an agile, sprint-based approach, starting each engagement with a working demo and progressing through weekly reviews. Projects are typically delivered as fully documented, production-ready products within four weeks. Clients receive full source code, environment access, and technical documentation as standard, ensuring transparency and avoiding vendor lock-in or black-box development.
Role Description The User Interface Designer role at i-BnB is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode. In this role, the designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX specialists to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, defining design systems, and ensuring consistency across products. The designer will work closely with front-end developers to hand off designs, review implementations, and refine interactions based on feedback and usability considerations. Participation in agile sprint planning, design reviews, and iterative improvements is expected.
Qualifications
Strong User Interface Design and Visual Design skills, with the ability to create clean, modern layouts and coherent design systems.
Experience creating wireframes and Mockups, including interactive prototypes for web and mobile interfaces.
Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, information architecture, and usability best practices.
Ability to collaborate effectively with Front-End Development teams, including preparing design assets and specifications for implementation.
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail, a user-centered mindset, and comfort working in an agile, sprint-based environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX work.
