About The Role
As an IT Support Specialist (m/w/d) focused on Modern Workplace & Microsoft 365 at HOERBIGER Deutschland, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of IT services at our production sites in the Schongau area. Your primary responsibility will be to provide first-line support to end-users, both on-site and remotely across European locations, facilitating efficient and secure digital work environments. You will be a key contributor to our ongoing digital transformation initiatives, integrating traditional IT support with modern workplace solutions to enhance productivity and collaboration. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in IT support and a passion for innovative workplace technology. A completed vocational training or comparable qualification in the IT field is essential. You should demonstrate several years of experience in customer-oriented IT support, with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and mobile device management. Knowledge of AI tools, data security, and compliance standards is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in German and good command of English are necessary to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. A structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning will set you apart.
Responsibilities
Support end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues both locally and remotely, ensuring quick and sustainable resolutions.
Analyze and prioritize IT incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain system stability.
Manage and maintain workplace devices including PCs, notebooks, mobile devices, peripherals, and production-related IT systems, ensuring they are properly installed, configured, and replaced when necessary.
Coordinate closely with production teams, business units, and central IT departments to streamline processes and uphold high service quality standards.
Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of modern workplace solutions and collaboration tools to foster efficient teamwork.
Contribute to innovation by integrating AI-powered tools for knowledge management, documentation, and process optimization, promoting a forward-thinking support environment.
