Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Supervisor role based in Ahmedabad. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production activities on the shop floor, ensure adherence to production plans and schedules, and coordinate resources to meet output and quality targets. Responsibilities include monitoring machine operations, guiding production teams, resolving workflow issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. The Production Supervisor will also maintain production records, report performance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules to meet delivery timelines and optimize resources.
Candidates should possess Production Management capabilities, including process oversight, quality focus, and adherence to safety standards.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and reporting production status.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in heavy machinery or metal manufacturing environments, particularly tube mills or related equipment, is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings, use basic production software, and apply problem-solving and root cause analysis methods.
