Job Purpose:
The role holder has the responsibility for implementing business analytics/ data science to deliver a market-leading platform that offers basic and enhanced financial services for all the Rural retail banking product customers of the bank to achieve business and brand objectives. It will include of making the process efficient and optimization of MIS. The role holder is expected to support the team to drive initiatives and projects that involves building, analysing data sets which are robust and efficient for use.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support continuous progression, performance and ingenuity in providing insights for data driven decisions.
Implement data models for use across the rural retail banking products of the Bank using ‘best in class’ statistical techniques.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business.
Assist in developing a variety of robust statistical techniques used for the analysis of a diverse range of data.
Enhance analytical capability in providing value-added analysis and MIS review for the product and distribution groups.
Proactively review product performance and competitive environment; highlight important trends, gaps & opportunities for the business; cost-effective marketing.
Preparing reports for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
Provide support to the business teams on deployed dashboards, when needed.
Stay abreast with global market trends and competitor strategies in key markets.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors in Math’s / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Engineering / Management / any other.
Proficient in data analytical tools.
Experience:
2-5 years + of relevant experience.
