We're looking for a New Product Development Specialist to lead the early-stage development of our Smart Label product line — from concept to market-ready offering. This role starts as an idea validator and concept builder, with a clear path to Product Manager once the business case is validated and the product enters active development.
Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in such spheres as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.
In this role, you will:
Research market needs, competitors, and technology trends in smart labeling / asset identification.
Validate product ideas through customer discovery, prototyping, and business case development.
Define the initial product concept: target segments, use cases, value proposition, and rough technical requirements.
Build and pitch a validated business plan to secure go-ahead for full development.
Once validated, transition into Product Manager role and grow the product into a full product portfolio (product basket).
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales throughout the process.
What we expect of you:
Experience in product management, business development, or a related field (B2B/tech preferred).
Strong analytical and business-case-building skills.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving a 0-to-1 process independently.
Interest in IoT, hardware, or industrial technology is a plus.
Fluent English.

Salary:
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 20 Eur/h up to 28 Eur/h (~3300 Eur - 4670 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get quarterly bonuses.
*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
