Role Description The Senior Environmental Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban. This position is responsible for leading environmental engineering projects, including planning, design, implementation, and monitoring of solutions that meet regulatory and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing environmental assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical reports, and guiding junior engineers. The role involves liaising with regulatory authorities and clients, developing practical mitigation measures, optimizing treatment systems, and ensuring that all project activities align with best practices and compliance standards. The Senior Environmental Engineer is also expected to contribute to process improvements, mentor team members, and support business development through technical input.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Impact Assessment, with experience interpreting and applying relevant regulations and standards.
Hands-on experience in Wastewater Treatment, including design, operation, optimization, and troubleshooting of treatment systems.
Proficiency in Environmental Consulting, including stakeholder engagement, preparation of technical reports, and presentation of findings and recommendations.
Solid understanding of Waste Management practices, including collection, segregation, treatment, and disposal strategies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
Proven experience (typically 6+ years) in managing environmental engineering projects, preferably in industrial or infrastructure sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency with relevant engineering and environmental modeling software and standard office productivity tools.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members and manage project timelines and deliverables.
