Roles And Responsibilities
Oversee the fulfillment of the technical requirements of the Asset Management contracts and consulting services.
Define team direction. Develop, resource and manage large scope and long-term projects, making resource, scope, and delivery tradeoffs as necessary. Review work products and progress to ensure success.
Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Resolve issues within and across teams. Mentor team and lower-level managers on job specific roles, communication, and collaboration.
Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Develop compensation planning, career coaching, training, and administer company policies for the team.
Working with company senior management, drive cross-functional team improvement initiatives to optimize the business, and propose updates to team policies and SOPs. Support development of strategic directions within the team.
Oversee and drive development of new technology services including processes, procedures, AI tools, and required software updates.
Lead and oversee technical asset management activities for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, including operational performance, availability, warranty review, degradation analysis, and coordination with OEMs, operators, and internal stakeholders.
Review of monthly and annual invoicing calculation support documentation against energy contracts to validate required calculations, metrics.
Required Qualifications & Education
4-8 years management experience
Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills with working teams and senior level management, CEOs, boards of directors
University Degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years domain experience
Experience managing utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, including operations, performance monitoring, contract compliance, and technical issue resolution.
Masters/Graduate and 6+ years domain experience

Proven ability to liaise with clients/internal management on significant issues that require high level management intervention in a professional manner.
Root cause analysis & process improvement. Big picture thinking that drives teams to meet organizational goals and provides cross-functional improvements.
Proven project and people management skills - organizing work, planning, monitoring and making tradeoffs to ensure quality deliveries.
Working knowledge of BESS operational performance drivers, including availability, round-trip efficiency, capacity degradation, augmentation planning, safety considerations, and root cause analysis for equipment or controls-related issues.
Required Software Knowledge
Expertise in MS Office MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF toolsets
Preferred Experience
Second level management of a large team
Successful delivery of large, high impact, cross functional projects
Process improvement experience with Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Experience in the green energy or utilities domain
Direct experience with BESS project commissioning, commercial operations, performance engineering, warranty claims, augmentation strategy, or revenue-impacting availability and dispatch issues.
Experience with a U.S. based company

This position is fully remote and may be based anywhere in the United States.
The target hiring range for this position is $135,000-145,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other relevant factors. This range is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of any specific salary.
