Role Description The Project Manager role at RL Steel & Energy Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include tracking project milestones, managing budgets and timelines, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on schedule. The role involves close collaboration with expediting, inspection, and logistics teams to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered and executed as per project specifications. The Project Manager will prepare reports, maintain documentation, and communicate project status to leadership while promoting safety and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up on orders, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills to verify quality, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to safety standards.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, material handling, and site delivery in alignment with project timelines.
Relevant experience in steel, energy, or industrial projects and familiarity with project management tools and reporting software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; professional certifications (such as PMP or similar) are an advantage.
