Role Description The Windchill Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining PTC Windchill PLM solutions for client projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. Day-to-day activities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing Windchill configurations, and supporting integrations with related systems and tools. The consultant will participate in solution design workshops, develop technical documentation, and provide user training and post-implementation support. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to best practices and process improvements.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM configuration, administration, and customization.
Experience with product lifecycle management concepts and engineering change management processes.
Familiarity with system integration, web services, and related enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CAD tools).
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used for PLM customization (such as Java or similar technologies).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and clear documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in PLM or Windchill are an advantage.
Prior experience in consulting or client-facing implementation roles is preferred.
Willingness to work on-site in Gurugram and support project timelines and delivery milestones.
