We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Rust, cloud-native architecture, API-first microservices, and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design scalable, secure and highly available solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into robust cloud architectures.
Define microservice boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, data architecture and deployment strategies.
Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, ADRs, technical discussions and architecture governance.
Design and review solutions using AWS VPC, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, EKS/ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, ElastiCache, IAM, KMS and WAF.
Guide engineering teams on Rust-based production services, async programming and cloud-native development.
Drive scalability, performance, availability, disaster recovery, security and cost optimization.
Define observability using Amazon CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry and AWS X-Ray.
Work closely with Engineering, DevOps/SRE, QA, Security, Product and Operations teams.
Provide technical leadership during integration, production readiness and major production incidents.
Document architecture decisions, technical risks, dependencies, trade-offs and operational requirements.
Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience in software/cloud engineering.
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture.
Strong experience designing AWS-hosted distributed systems and microservices platforms.
Production experience or strong working knowledge of Rust-based services.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead technical decisions across onsite/offshore engineering teams.
Experience working across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Security and Operations.
