Mechanical HVAC

Job purpose:
The Engineer responsibilities include detail design drawings for HVAC.
Educational or experience requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor’s (Mechanical) with minimum 10-12 years of experience in relevant
discipline.
Responsibilities
1. Preparation of HVAC system - Ducting Layout Plan, Section & Typical details,
Ducting line list, Ducting penetration and Connection details.
2. Preparations for HVAC MTO.
3. Preparation of D&ID, Airflow diagram, E3D extracted HVAC arrangement drawing,
typical installation details, shop drawings and as-built drawings.
4. Preparation of HVAC DRAIN - ISOMETRIC DRAWING, PIPING LAYOUT
Drawing.
5. Detail design using E3D modelling shall carry out following typical activities.
a) Verify/Update HVAC equipment against Approved Vendor data.
b) Verify/Update duct routing, accessories as per Air flow diagram.
c) Perform clash check and resolve interfaces.
d) Space reservation of equipment.
e) Chiller/refrigerant piping routing.
f) Duct/pipe supports.
6. Co-ordination with other disciplines for interface engineering
7. Any other relevant activities as defined by the Manager/Lead.
Desired Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
1. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
2. At least 10 - 12 years of experience in Design for Oil & Gas project.
3. Software knowledge E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MS office, etc.
4. Should have minimum knowledge of HVAC related Codes & standards.
5. Experience in detail design of HVAC equipment, duct routing, accessories, etc.
6. Experience in detail design of Material handling equipment, devices, valves and
related items.
