Role Description The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site operations for commercial interior projects in Bengaluru, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and vendors, as well as supervising site teams to maintain project timelines and budget. The Site Engineer will monitor construction activities, conduct regular inspections, and implement quality control measures to address technical issues promptly. The role also includes reviewing drawings, preparing site reports, tracking material usage, and communicating project progress to project managers and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong on-site execution skills, with experience supervising construction or interior fit-out projects.
Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, preferably with experience working alongside civil engineers and structural engineers.
Proficiency in quality control practices, including inspection, compliance with standards, and documentation of site activities.
Effective communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
Familiarity with construction drawings, BOQs, and basic project management tools.
Understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols at site.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and resolve site-level challenges proactively.
Prior experience in commercial interiors or fit-out projects in an urban setting such as Bengaluru is an advantage.
