Storekeeper - Canteen

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage inventory and daily store operations for an industrial canteen.
Preferred candidates: Candidates with prior experience in canteens, industrial canteens, mess facilities, catering companies, hotels, restaurants or institutional food services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and verify food items, raw materials, packaging materials and other supplies.
* Maintain daily stock records and inventory registers.
* Issue materials to the kitchen as per requirements.
* Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and FIFO practices.
* Track wastage, shortages and damaged/expired items.
* Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with records.
* Verify daily sales against the quantity of stock issued to the kitchen to ensure that no excess or unauthorized stock is released.
* Reconcile kitchen stock issues with actual sales/consumption and investigate any discrepancies.
* Coordinate with the kitchen and purchase team for replenishment.
* Ensure proper storage, cleanliness and organization of the store.
* Maintain documentation for inward and outward materials.
* Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
Requirements:
* 2–5 years of relevant storekeeping experience.
* Canteen / mess / catering / F&B experience
* Good knowledge of food inventory and FIFO.
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of Excel.
* Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
