What you will be doing:
Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients and for internal KAM teams on all Jumia Advertising Services (JAS) matters.
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients to drive recurring, growing and sustainable business.
Manage the full sales cycle: brief intake and qualification, media recommendation, pitch, negotiation, closing, execution follow-up and reporting.
Lead media strategy for your accounts: define objectives, plan multi-channel campaigns, recommend formats and allocate budgets accordingly.
Work closely with internal teams (Ad Ops, design, data, commercial) to ensure seamless campaign execution and KPI delivery.
Optimize campaigns on a daily basis and provide proactive client servicing through regular check-ins, insights, performance reviews and strategic recommendations.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand account value.
Monitor performance, market trends and competitor activity to continuously propose relevant improvements and innovative solutions to clients.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in digital advertising in a sales or client-facing role: media agency, ad network, publisher, retail media platform or advertiser side.
Strong hands-on experience managing online marketing campaigns: display, performance, retail media, social… with a solid understanding of KPIs and budget management.
Comfortable working with data, dashboards and large datasets.
Strong client management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities at once.
Commercial mindset with proven ability to negotiate, persuade and close deals.
Sensitivity to brand identity and content quality.
