Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role based in Jaipur. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support YeppAr’s immersive technology platforms and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing CI pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability, performance, and security across development, testing, and production environments. The role involves administering Linux-based systems, monitoring environments, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating closely with software development teams to streamline releases. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to infrastructure automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational practices.
Qualifications
Strong System Administration and Linux skills for managing and securing production and staging environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management.
Background in Software Development to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and optimize deployment workflows.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and related tooling to build, test, and deploy applications reliably.
Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) is preferred.
Understanding of security best practices, backup strategies, and high-availability architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document infrastructure and processes.
