Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Mechanical Engineer role is based in Bahadurgarh. The role involves assisting in the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment used in refinery, pipeline, or terminal operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical drawings, supporting installation and commissioning activities, monitoring equipment performance, and helping troubleshoot mechanical issues under the guidance of senior engineers. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and operational procedures. The role also includes documenting technical work, supporting small-scale projects, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications.
Skills in Machine Design and familiarity with mechanical components and systems.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical drawings and models.
Basic experience or coursework related to Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of engineering tasks.
Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities, such as evaluating new materials, technologies, or design approaches.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, following safety protocols and company procedures.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Basic knowledge of industry standards and codes relevant to mechanical systems in the energy or petrochemical sector is an advantage.
Willingness to learn, adapt to operational requirements, and grow into more independent engineering responsibilities.
