Position Overview
Role: IT Infrastructure Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote role in UK
Type of employment: Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure transformation projects, including cloud migrations, data center modernization, network upgrades, workplace services, and end-user computing initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management, project governance, financial oversight, and leadership of cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Lead project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project financials, forecasts, and budget performance.
Ensure smooth transition to operations, including deployment, cutover, and hypercare support.
Drive continuous improvement and adherence to project management best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of IT Project Management experience with a focus on infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), Networks, Servers, Storage, Security, and End User Computing.
Experience managing global teams and third-party vendors.
Strong stakeholder, financial, and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Preferred Experience
Cloud migration and data center transformation projects.
Large enterprise infrastructure programs.
ITIL-based service transition and operational readiness activities
