Help shape a client experience that is accurate, responsive, and built for scale. In this role, you will support onboarding and ongoing maintenance of account and counterparty reference data that underpins investment operations. You will collaborate across operations, product, and technology partners to improve processes and increase straight-through processing. Job summary
As a Senior Associate in Client Account Services, you will manage and deliver account and counterparty reference data to support client readiness and high-quality investment operations service delivery. You will coordinate end-to-end onboarding and lifecycle changes while partnering with internal stakeholders to drive efficient, well-governed outcomes. You will help improve the operating model through disciplined execution, clear communication, and continuous process enhancement.
Job responsibilities
Manage end-to-end intake, tracking, and delivery of account reference data requests to support client satisfaction.
Coordinate account lifecycle events (e.g., new accounts, fund launches, mandate changes, third-party onboarding, and account closures) with relevant stakeholders.
Partner with operations, product, and technology teams to define requirements and align timelines for agreed deliverables.
Lead client and internal working sessions to progress implementation actions, resolve blockers, and drive timely decisions.
Produce clear, audience-appropriate status reporting (milestones, next actions, risks, and issues) for clients and internal stakeholders.
Implement disciplined governance across initiatives, including tracking risks, actions, issues, dependencies, milestones, and escalations.
Support testing and release readiness by coordinating user acceptance testing activities and validating outcomes against agreed expectations.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that increase straight-through processing and reduce operational risk.
Apply structured problem-solving to analyze complex issues and meet daily service level commitments.
Build strong working relationships across a matrixed environment to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Proven experience in client onboarding, reference data, account services, or investment operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional deliverables across operations and technology partners.
Demonstrated ability to structure work, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a changing environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing concise status updates and documentation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data quality issues and drive remediation.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with reporting and tracking artifacts.
Support required schedule/shift (variable) expectations for the role
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience supporting middle office functions and/or investment operations workflows.
Experience driving process improvement or operating model optimization initiatives.
Experience facilitating meetings and managing conflict to reach timely outcomes.
Experience working with global or regional stakeholders within a distributed team model.
