Role Description The Motor Control Firmware Engineer will design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware for BLDC motor controllers and related drive systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing motor control algorithms, writing and maintaining embedded C/C++ code, integrating firmware with hardware platforms, and performing rigorous testing and debugging of control features.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Embedded Software and Software Development for real-time control systems.
Hands-on experience with Debugging embedded systems and working with ARM Architecture-based microcontrollers.
Foundational knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to motor control, power electronics, and hardware interfaces.
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded firmware, with familiarity in RTOS or bare-metal development.
Understanding of motor control techniques (FOC, PWM, sensorless control) and communication interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C).
Ability to read schematics, use lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer), and collaborate effectively with hardware teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in motor drives, robotics, drones, or e-mobility systems is an advantage.
