Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will work on-site in Indore in a full-time capacity, ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile products delivered by Alphawizz. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and test cases for various projects. The role involves conducting manual testing, identifying defects, documenting issues clearly, and collaborating with developers, designers, and product owners to resolve problems. The engineer will help improve QA processes, contribute to test strategy, and advocate for best practices in software testing and quality assurance. This role also includes mentoring junior QA team members and participating in reviews to ensure consistent quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Test Execution and Manual Testing.
Candidates should possess the ability to design, document, and manage effective Test Cases.
Experience with defect tracking tools, test management systems, and QA documentation.
Solid understanding of web and mobile application architecture and common testing methodologies.
Experience with cross-browser, cross-device, and regression testing.
Familiarity with basic automation concepts or tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong experience in client call handling & communication
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment and mentor junior team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
