Role Description This is a freelance Jewelry Designer role based in Jaipur. The Jewelry Designer will create original designs for gemstone and fashion jewelry collections, from concept sketches to finalized pieces. The Jewelry Designer will collaborate closely with production teams, gem experts, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible, cost-effective, and meet quality standards, while maintaining timelines for new collections and custom orders.
Qualifications
Strong Jewelry Design and Product Design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and commercial awareness.
Proficiency in Drawing and sketching for translating concepts into clear design illustrations.
Experience in Fashion Jewelry design, with understanding of styles, trends, and target customer preferences.
Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to jewelry modeling and technical detailing.
Attention to detail, color and material sense, and basic understanding of gemstones, metals, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to collaborate with artisans and production teams, manage feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant design education (e.g., jewelry design, fashion design, industrial/product design) or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in the jewelry or accessories industry is an advantage; willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends is essential.
