Summary
Provides technical leadership in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems. Leads key engineering initiatives, mentors developers across teams, and contributes to the evolution of Tekion’s platform architecture and engineering excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
Leads development of complex software solutions and ensures alignment with architectural direction and business objectives.
Designs large-scale system components, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Partners with product managers and cross-functional leaders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
Guides engineering best practices, code standards, and performance tuning across teams.
Mentors and coaches engineers at all levels, supporting career growth and engineering maturity.
Investigates system-wide issues and drives root cause analysis and resolution strategies.
Qualifications
7–10 years of experience in software engineering
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience designing and delivering distributed systems and large-scale applications
Proficiency in cloud-native development, containerization, and modern development tools and frameworks
Strong skills in system performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and observability
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentor peers, and drive engineering excellence
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
