Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Application Developer role based in New Delhi. The Application Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable applications that support BillCut’s debt-management and payment solutions. Responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating third-party services and financial institution APIs, and ensuring smooth data flow between systems. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues in production, and contributing to code reviews and documentation. The Application Developer is expected to stay current with best practices in software engineering and help improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building secure, scalable applications.
Hands-on experience working with Databases for data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and understanding of responsive design principles.
Experience with Integration of APIs, third-party services, and financial systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of modern development frameworks, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code, with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to user-centric design and data security.
Experience in fintech or financial services is an advantage.
