About the Role:
GAOTek Inc. is looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our global remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress and WooCommerce websites while ensuring high performance, security, user experience, and search engine visibility. This is an excellent opportunity to work on international projects with a global technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
Customize WordPress themes, Elementor, and plugins based on business requirements.
Design and develop custom WordPress plugins and website functionalities.
Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Optimize website speed, security, and overall user experience.
Analyze website traffic and user behaviour using Google Analytics.
Plan, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and industry best practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Web Development.
Strong expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce development.
Experience with WordPress theme customization, Elementor, and custom plugin development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Experience implementing SEO strategies and working with SEO tools.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Own laptop/PC with a stable internet connection.
Comfortable working in the EDT/EST (New York Time) time zone.
