We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 1–2 years of professional experience who can design, develop, and optimize modern, responsive, and high-performing websites.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, be capable of building professional landing pages, and have a solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop professional, modern, and conversion-focused WordPress websites and landing pages.
Build fully responsive pages that work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Customize WordPress themes and page layouts based on project requirements.
Work with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor or similar tools.
Convert designs, references, or mockups into functional WordPress pages.
Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom styling, functionality, and front-end improvements.
Optimize websites for performance, loading speed, and Core Web Vitals.
Optimize images, scripts, CSS, caching, and other website assets to improve page speed.
Troubleshoot WordPress layout, responsiveness, plugin, and front-end issues.
Maintain consistent design, spacing, typography, and visual quality across websites.
Test websites across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins when required.
Follow basic SEO and website development best practices.
Maintain clean, organized, and reliable website implementations.
Required Skills:
1–2 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
Strong experience creating professional landing pages and business websites.
Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first web development.
Experience with WordPress page builders, preferably Elementor / Elementor Pro.
Good understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, templates, headers, footers, and reusable sections.
Knowledge of website and page speed optimization techniques.
Familiarity with tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or similar performance-testing tools.
Ability to create clean, visually balanced, and user-friendly page layouts.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues independently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow design references.
Preferred Skills:
Basic understanding of PHP and WordPress theme structure.
Experience with WooCommerce.
Understanding of technical and on-page SEO fundamentals.
Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools.
Experience converting Figma designs into responsive WordPress pages.
Knowledge of hosting environments, domains, SSL, CDN, caching, and website migration.
Experience working with performance optimization plugins and Cloudflare is a plus.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who does more than simply place elements on a page. The candidate should understand professional web design, responsive layouts, spacing, typography, usability, and website performance.
You should be able to take a design concept or reference website and turn it into a polished, responsive, fast-loading WordPress website with minimal supervision.
Experience
1–2 years of relevant WordPress development experience
Candidates should be able to provide a portfolio or examples of WordPress websites and landing pages they have designed or developed.
