Atulit Aerospace is developing scalable, next-generation gas turbine engines for advanced aerospace and defence applications.
We are an early-stage deep-tech company focused on aerospace propulsion, turbomachinery, and rapid hardware development. Our engineers work across the full development cycle—from concept and design to manufacturing, testing, and iteration—with a strong focus on turning engineering concepts into working hardware.
What You'll Do
· Develop 3D engine layouts and master assemblies for system-level packaging and integration.
· Integrate turbomachinery, combustors, shafts, bearings, seals, casings, nozzles, and subsystems.
· Convert engineering concepts into detailed CAD models, production drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
· Design mechanical components, housings, supports, fixtures, test rigs, and prototype assemblies.
· Define and verify clearances, fits, tolerances, interfaces, and mechanical requirements.
· Apply GD&T, DFM/DFA, machining, welding, and fabrication to ensure manufacturable designs.
· Partner with manufacturing teams and vendors to transition CAD to physical hardware.
· Support prototype assembly, hardware testing, troubleshooting, and design iterations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional analysis, combustion, and testing teams on engineering activities.
What We're Looking For
· B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.
· 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, and assembly management.
· Robust SolidWorks skills, including part modeling, drawings, configurations, and BOM workflows.
· Strong grasp of solid mechanics, materials, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and fasteners.
· Familiarity with machining, fabrication, welding, and basic GD&T principles.
· Sound engineering fundamentals, practical problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
· High ownership mindset, agility, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good to Have
· Exposure to turbomachinery, gas turbines, aerospace, propulsion, or high-speed rotating machinery.
· Exposure to FEA, thermal analysis, rotor dynamics, and CFD.
· Experience with prototype development, test rigs, fabrication vendors, or experimental hardware.
